The main idea at first was to record the audience to be used in a composition for a theatrical play. During recording, I was pausing the recording a few seconds after the music started and pressed record again a few seconds before each song had finished. While transferring in real time the whole recording to the computer, I realised that the fast songs with the entusiastic audience between songs sounded surreal and funny which is one aspect of the sound piece. On the other hand when the recording was presented as a sound performance during an experimental music live show at Domus in Athens on the 28th of September 2019, another aspect of the sound piece was created. The broadcasting of the hectic sound environment of a punk concert, disguised as a live performance with minimal movements and volume manipulations on the mixer, to an audience that behaves in an almost opposite way to that of a punk concert, (minimal talking while the majority of the audience is being sitted, carefully watching the performer with almost no movement) created a juxtaposition of behaviors but also a juxtaposition of participation. The audiece in the punk concert is as much a part of the show as the band playing, a voluntary one. The audience in the presentation of this piece were the involuntary participants of the sound environmental installation just by being there, thus blurring the boundaries between object, subject, audience and space for the sound art piece.
